TODAY RETAIL BAGS A PLACE AT IQ WINNERSH

A new convenience store has opened at IQ Winnersh, complementing the park's existing occupier amenities.

Today Retail selected IQ Winnersh to launch its first outlet outside of London, and offers news, drinks, snacks and more, to occupiers and customers passing through the park.

Founded by Jason Matthews and Dan Harris in 2008, the duo has been joined by Mike Clare, founder of bed specialist Dreams, who assumed the role of Chairman. With a long history in the retail sector, the team is looking forward to welcoming new customers.

Speaking at the opening, Cofounder, Jason Matthews, said: "It's a great time to be locating to IQ Winnersh – the future plans to continue the development of the Park are very exciting and something that really attracted us.

"The quality of the development is something that complements our store's modern, bright and clean design and first class customer service."

Today Retail is located on the lower level of Building 1000, having taken 1,345 sq ft of space; pop in to find out about their in-store promotions.

Hoo Ha Cafe goes mobile

The Hoo Ha Cafe located at 135 Wharfedale Road, IQ Winnersh has proved a popular venue for employees to purchase Starbucks coffee, snacks, sandwiches, or more substantial meals.  However, the staff within the Hoo Ha appreciate that sometimes it isn't easy to take time out to visit the cafe, particularly if you have a tight work deadline to meet, or the weather outside prevents you from walking down to the cafe.  This is why in January 2010 the Hoo Ha Cafe goes mobile and will be launching a van service stocking all your favourite items from the cafe, together with a new range of exciting options.  On board you will find:-

Community and Environmental Day
28 March 2009

Come down to IQ Winnersh and help us on an environmental project. Our aim is to plant a wildlife hedgerow on Winnersh Meadows. The hedgerow will benefit the sites resident great crested newts and will provide a nesting and feeding habitat for many species of wild birds. We also intend to clear footpaths and prune back vegetation. By the end of the day SEGRO volunteers will have made significant improvements to both public access and enjoyment of the site and the wildlife value of the site.

10am to 4pm

Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

This event is open to all, however pre-booking onto this event is essential.
